Nomination & Election of WFNHP-Local 5000 Chapter Officers
October 15, 2026
It’s time to elect the following Chapter Officers of WFNHP-Local 5000:
- Chapter President
- Chapter Vice President
- Chapter Secretary
- Chapter Treasurer (VA Chapter ONLY)
- Chief Steward
- Stewards:
- (3) Ascension-St. Francis RN Chapter
- (3) Ascension-St. Francis Serv/Tech Chapter
- (3) Aspirus Langlade Chapter
- (3) Aurora-Burlington Chapter
- (3) Planned Parenthood Chapter
- (2) Touchpoint Chapter (St. Francis EVS/FNS)
- (6) VA Staff Nurses Council Chapter
- (3) Wisconsin Diagnostic Labs Chapter
- You must be a dues paying member in good standing for at least 3 months to run for an Officer position.
- All elected Chapter positions are for a two-year term of office beginning January 1, 2027 and
ending December 31, 2028. - Nomination forms due to the Union Office by 5pm on Friday, November 20, 2026.
- There will be no write-in candidates. Only candidates nominated via the official nomination process will appear on ballot. Ballots will only be necessary if there is opposition for any position. If not, the candidates without opposition will be automatically elected after review by the WFNHP Election Committee. If ballots are necessary for any Chapter, they will be mailed via U.S. mail to dues paying members of that Chapter after Thanksgiving.
- Ballots must be returned to the Union office and postmarked by December 18, 2026.
- Ballots will be counted the week of December 21, 2026.
- Members will be notified of election results within 30 calendar days of the count. Results will be posted on our website www.wfnhp.org and emailed.
