HealthWatch Wisconsin is a statewide coalition of health care advocates, providers, social workers, educators, students and consumers dedicated to the communication among the health care, social service, and legal industries and and the sharing of information across communities and professions. Their mission is to focus and amplify the voices of heath care advocates across the state.
HealthWatch Wisconsin (HWW), currently a project of ABC for Health and designed to emerge as a member-driven subsidiary organization, promotes improved access to health care coverage and services. HealthWatch has developed state of the art communication and training methods to help health care service providers improve both their competency and capacity to meet the needs of people seeking medical coverage and services. By training a broad spectrum of health care service providers on public as well as private health care coverage programs, HealthWatch Wisconsin delivers comprehensive member benefits that help people in Wisconsin. As a membership organization, HealthWatch Wisconsin also works on important health care public policy issues and acts to focus and amplify statewide efforts and strategies to connect people to health care and coverage.
