The Maine State Board of Education Select Panel on Revisioning Education in Maine released their report on September 28, 2006. The 90 page report calls for sweeping changes in public education, including a longer school year, higher salaries and merit pay for teachers, larger school districts and an end to construction of schools too small to be cost effective.

Snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) are usually provided. Even if you do not have any concerns, it is still nice to get together with other members that you may not otherwise get a chance to see everyday.
